This 2008 baseball season has started off pretty rough for the Detroit Tigers, but there is still a lot of time left. In an effort to spark some much needed magic for the squad, I have taken it back to 2006 and I am wearing black socks as a way of saying "F*** YOU" to the Southside Sluggers until it is proven ineffective. For those that don't know, the last time this was done... the White Sox were sitting pretty comfortable in first place and after the black socks came into effect, we ended up in the playoffs and went to the Series. I figure something has to change, so I'll take the bull by the horns. Everyone else is encouraged to toss on a pair, there is strength in numbers. First day I had them on we won.. Stay tuned and watch the standings, and don't underestimate the power of the black socks.. There are witnesses to their success...
