I know Florida is a long way from Michigan, and I know it's only Spring Training baseball, but so far, I've only heard one game broadcasted on the radio. I'm not in Detroit, so that may be part of the reason I'm not hearing that many games, but I am in Grand Rapids, so you would think that with two sports stations in town, at least one might cover the game. However, here it is, 2:15 on Tuesday afternoon, and no game to listen to. I might think about subscribing to MLB radio so I could listen online, but my company's IT department has blocked streaming audio and video. Oh well, the regular season will be here soon enough, and then all the games will be on the radio.

Spring Training 2010 Desktop Wallpaper
Baseball is back!
After what seemed like an endless off-season, the Tigers are back in camp in Lakeland with some exciting new faces. Expectations are mixed at this point, but I'm anticipating a good race in the A.L. Central.

Right-click and choose Save Target As to download the wallpaper in the desired size.
I'd like to hear your feedback on the minimalist design of the wallpaper. Your comments are appreciated.

Tigers sign Damon....finally
The waiting game is finally over. After weeks of talking, the Tigers and Johnny Damon have agreed to a 1-year deal reportedly worth $8 million. He will spend most of his time playing left field and DH.
Now that this is ordeal is finally over, we can now focus on the rest of the team and identifying the best prospects to fill out the 25-man roster.
On another note, I should have the desktop wallpaper for Spring Training out in the next week. Keep checking back after that for the regular season schedules.
Go Tigers!

Spring Training 2010
It's freezing outside right now in Michigan, but I was warmed by this thought...
Pitchers and catchers report in 3 weeks!
I know that the first game is three months away, but I was so excited when I realized that baseball will soon be back.
My apologies for the lack of posting, but it's been a hard to post when not much has happened. I know that Granderson got traded, but other than that, it's been somewhat quiet. But with Spring Training starting up, the posts will become more regular.
Go Tigers!
